Shades of Simon Gray

For my English class I read the first few pages of the book "Shades of Simon Gray" by Joyce McDonald. The book's prologue was interesting but then the accusal story began and it lost my interest. I thought it was to descriptive and not much action. There was a secret about the main character that the was not revealed to the reader so that made me want to keep on reading. I am a very picky reader so I personally would not keep reading this book.
